Here at Byron, we’ve been busy preparing our new menu; reinventing old favourites, reworking staple Byron classics and of course, developing brand new recipes!

To create the new, we first needed to explore the best of the best – and that meant travelling to the USA. Our research led us to Kentucky, where we spent endless hours studying every food quality we could – from the best buns in town to the crispiest chicken and the sweetest desserts... it was a hard job, but someone had to do it!

This inspired many of the new products you’ll see on the autumn menu, such as our all-American custard tart; the Vanilla Chess Pie - served with whipped cream and caramel Bulleit bourbon sauce.

There’s also been one original VIP (very important product) that you’ve been pleading us to bring back. So, after all the surveys, reviews and customer prayers, we’re excited to FINALLY present you with the return of the once gone but never forgotten, SKIN ON FRIES!

We wanted to make them extra special, so we developed our own signature seasoning salt. After testing, tasting, tweaking and exploring various outrageous creations, we whittled down our favourites to create the ultimate, moreish seasoning. From the 30 different variations we started off with, we created the perfect salt inspired by Byron’s core flavours; salty, sweet and savoury. Even better, it’s completely gluten-free, so everyone can enjoy our fries with a sprinkle of magic.

We didn’t stop there. As much as we love them, we thought several of our staple Byron dishes simply needed a little oomphft. So - aprons secured - we took to thekitchen to spend some time giving our favourites a burger face lift, filling them with new ingredients and added flavouring.

Our in-house Byron sauce has been tweaked to pack more flavour; simply perfectfor TheNew Byron. The vibe was to keep the Byron flavours, but turbo charge them. So, the Byron sauce has a little more bite and we’ve added our bespoke made Byron cheese; this is our own recipe cheese that has the perfect melt consistency - a mixture of Italian hard cheeses melted together for a wonderfully rich hit. And in true Byron fashion, we’ve of course thrown in some succulent house-made pickles to create our classic Byron burger with BELLS ON!

Amongst the new arrivals is my favourite, the Bulleit Bourbon Smokey, heavily inspired by our trip to Kentucky – the home of Bulleit bourbon and great BBQ flavours. Think smoky BBQ, bourbon depth, creamy housemade ranch dressing, crunchy slaw, a bourbon glazed patty, melted Cheddar, bacon and gently spiced fried jalapenos - all perfectly balanced to give you what we think is the ULTIMATE BBQ burger. Be warned, it could get messy.
